What is ESG?

ESG is an abbreviation for three English words: Environment, Social, and Governance. It represents the concepts of environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance. The UN Global Compact first introduced the concept of ESG in 2004, and it is regarded as an indicator for evaluating a company's operations. This is an international trend, and New Taipei City is also keeping up with it.
